Adopt A Shark

Adopt us by getting close to the sharks underwater

Adopt a shark is our yearly initiative to get closer to the specific shark, and it will be done as a group of divers/freediving/snorkelling throughout the season(in a year), in order to understand sharks in detail, as a dive ‘buddy’. During this tenure, volunteers/researcher/staffs will be involved directly to the chosen shark, get close via the dive(or freediving/ snorkeling in some cases), photography & videography of the sharks will be taken into as well as part of the documentation. Beside, we would like to have every participants to go beyond the wall where progress on the reefs will be monitored altogether.

The commitment(funding) received will be use mostly to support the financial part of the volunteers/researchers, this is important to encourage more student, marine biologist, scientist to contribute to the database. We will also use small part of it to fund the materials, gears or other related equipments and technologies, for example, our short-term aim is to get the underwater drone. In the case of money excess within the commitment period(where we will try our very best to make the most efficient use of the fund), it is going to be a donation to the school or other charitable organisation.
